Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia - Islamabad

To celebrate the upcoming 68th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2013, Independence Day Games were launched at the Embassy in Islamabad on May 11, 2013. In this connection a special ceremony was held at the Embassy which was led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Mr. Burhan Muhammad. The ceremony was attended by the entire home staff and local staff and their families and the Indonesian community in Islamabad.

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC) organized the ASEAN Volley Ball Tournament- 2013 on April 13, 2013. The sporting activity was organized in conjunction with the ASEAN Food Festival and intended at fostering deeper social linkages and to manifest member mission’s strong desire and determination to pursue the set goal to attain ASEAN Community in 2015.

On May 7 April 2013, The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Mr. Burhan Muhammad held a meeting with the Indonesian nationals studying at the Madrasa Binoria Karachi. The meeting was facilitated by the Consulate General in Karachi and was aimed at socializing with the Indonesian students and to get acquainted with their academic achievements and to exchange views on resolving the problems they experience as a foreign students pursuing education in Pakistan.
